Review of Festival 2021

MKInnovates STEM festival for 2021 was held in Middleton Hall on the 8th and 9th October 2021. It has been agreed that this was the biggest and best festival to date. Approximately 800-1000 students attended from 15+ schools on Friday the 8th October and well over 2000 visitors attended on Saturday 9th October.

The event was supported by over 20 organisations exhibiting offering a variety of activities designed to stimulate an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The generosity of our 2 headline sponsors CityFibre and Milton Keynes Council enabled us to offer much more than we have previously and added to the value and enjoyed experienced by all visitors and exhibitors.

Other sponsors included Queensbury for our lanyards, IMAGINE for the stage, NiftLift for a competition and CCL Solutions Group for the website.

New for this year was a stage where our exhibitors could deliver short pieces of value to the audience and we were fortunate to have Professor Sarah Walker form Oxford University deliver a piece on the Covid Vaccine trials conducted form Oxford which was facinating.
